Mission Statement

During Vision Con in October 2005, the Young Adult Community worked hard to create a mission statement that would speak to us and our place in the greater UU world. This is what we created:

We the Metro New York District Young Adults (ages 18 to 35) covenant to promote a growing and welcoming community. We foster spirituality, community, social justice and leadership development. We boldly encourage congregations to celebrate the unique gifts young adults bring to our lifespan Unitarian Universalist faith.
