. . . Unraveling the Gender Knot - Challenging the System that Binds Us is a new curriculum for UU adults and youth published by UU Women & Religion. The District Women and Religion Committee is co-sponsoring a course based on this new curriculum at the Community Church of NY UU on April 26 and 30 and May 3 and 10

. . . Through March 1, 40 congregations have contributed nearly $33,00 for the Fourth Universalist Society (Manhattan) during the Fall 2004 Chalice Lighters Call. The UU Church of Flushing (NY) is the Spring 2005 Chalice Lighters congregation. Answer the Call!

. . . The UU Service Committee is sponsoring Pete Seeger on May 21 at Community Church of NY UU (Manhattan). Seeger will narrate his stories while musicians -- including Jim Scott and the Rev. Hope Johnson, minister at the UU Congregation of Central Nassau (Garden City NY) -- sing his songs.

. . . An interview with Matthew Kesner, youth advisor at the UU Fellowship at Stony Brook (NY) and the UU Congregation at Shelter Rock (Manhasset NY), appeared in Newsday on February 24.

. . . A letter to the editor from the Rev. Jim Bridges, consulting minister of the UU Congregation at Rock Tavern (NY) and the UU Fellowship of the Poconos (Stroudsburg NY), appeared in the New York Times on February 25.

. . . Highlighted in the March/April 2005 issue of UU World magazine are the Long Island Area Council and its president, Joanne Hammer; the Rev.
