The Rev. Dr. Tracey Robinson-Harris “Shared Ministry: Lessons From the Dance Floor”
|
|
|
The
Rev. Dr. Tracey Robinson-Harris is a Minister of
Religious Education and serves as the UUA’s Director for
Congregational Services. Tracey came to the UUA
following a ministry with the Community Church of New
York UU in Manhattan and congregations in Lexington MA,
Nashville TN, and Lynchburg VA. She is co-author of the
curriculum Beyond Pink and Blue and past chair of the
continental Women and Religion Committee. She has served
as a member of the Hymnbook Advisory Committee, the
board of the Liberal Religious Educators Association,
and the Modified Residency Program Committee (Meadville
Lombard). Raised a Southern Baptist, Tracey became a UU
following her grandmother’s death on Easter 1971.
Attending the UU church in Lynchburg that Sunday, she
found the saving message that deep faith does not
require baptism, church attendance, or one doctrine to
be real, that eternal life is ours as we live on in the
lives and hearts of those whom we touch with our love. A
graduate of Vanderbilt Divinity School with a Doctor of
Ministry degree, Tracey lives in Ashby MA in an 1860s
farmhouse that she enjoys restoring. She especially
loves ballroom and Latin dancing, competing regionally
and nationally when she can. |

And on Friday Night:
Geoff Kaufman in Concert
|
|
|
|
|
|
For the past twenty-eight
years, Geoff Kaufman has been leading audiences to find
truth, humor, and beauty in folk music. Whether singing
sailor songs with his quartet, Forebitter; or
environmental songs on board the Sloop Clearwater in the
Hudson River; or in solo performances at coffeehouses
throughout the northeast United States and at festivals
in Europe, Geoff has entertained and touched audiences
near and far. Geoff likes to stress the "live" in live
performance, promoting participation, be it by voice or
heart or mind. |
